Liberation!
The kids and I picked up a kitchen table this week. I am only posting this so A) Kris can see what I am spending our money on :) and because B) I am proud of myself for putting it together. Despite my first attempt (I bolted the legs on upside down), I was able to put it together in less than two hours. In the midst of the project, I was tempted to open a bottle of wine, but decided that it would end disastrous.

Birthday Cake Table
Kate and I passed out cupcakes for January birthdays at Ethan's school. She loved helping, but made some serious cupcake messes when I wasn't looking. Ethan was happy to have her join him for lunch too.And Gabby Makes Three
I got to babysit Gabby Tuesday night. Ethan was totally baby crazy ... he even wanted me to keep the light on her for the car ride home so he could watch her. Kate loves Gabby, but is a wee bit more threatened by her presence than Ethan.
The kids are in the play area of River Valley Mall.
