Johnson's Halloween Campfire

We didn't have time for a family Halloween party this year, so we settled for a nice evening around the fire.  The kids roasted weenies and marshmallows and ended the evening with a small treasure hunt in the woods.  It was super fun; they were all scared : ).  They each received a "flat hat" as part of their treasure, which they all thoroughly appreciated!

Sadly, Ethan will probably be some type of Zombie from here on out.  He and Grace made quite the pair!  Molly was a Disco Zombie, Henry was the famous Dr. Who, Roman the Jester, and Kate was the best little Corpse Bride ever (besides Molly, of course, who was the Corpse Bride last year)!

Ethan was the headless horseman.  He wore his outfit just long enough to take a picture.  He was more interested in "pencil" fighting with Nate!

Tess had an early morning Sunday bath.  Now she is all smiles looking out the window.  She will occasionally give me the satisfaction of a smile as she diverts from nature and poses for the camera.

Bulldogs vs. Fairfield Union

Ethan had a great game against Fairfield Union!  He was able to handle the ball a little more this game and really enjoyed the opportunity to do so!  As a 5th grader, he doesn't get to play as much as he would like to, but he is learning and waiting until his turn next year.
