This takes longer than I remember. We had five Jack-O-Lanterns to create and only finished four of them. Kris's didn't even have a face, just a bunch of holes. Poor Kate doesn't know any better, so she just had a plain pumpkin.
The family. The key is having a sharp carving knife (safety kind, specifically for carving pumpkins, of course). This took about ten minutes, scooping and drawing, included:
